Outreach and Follow-Up Services

Outreach Counselor: Our dedicated Outreach Counselor offers essential follow-up support to individuals post-discharge from our shelter. They provide emotional support, practical assistance, referrals to community resources, and advocacy to ensure continued safety and well-being.

Community Presentations: We conduct educational outreach sessions with various organizations to raise awareness about domestic violence. These presentations aim to educate the community about the signs of abuse, available support services, and how to access help for those in need.

Walk-In Support: We offer immediate assistance and information to women seeking help directly at our shelter. Our walk-in support services ensure that individuals facing domestic violence can access confidential support, guidance, and resources promptly and effectively.

The Salvation Army Family Life Resource Centre (FLRC) is an emergency short term shelter in the Brampton area for women and their children escaping partner violence.
