Support Services

At FLRC, we offer a range of specialized supports to meet the diverse needs of our clients:

Mental Health Supports: We provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health workshops with a strong emphasis on cultural awareness. These services are designed to address emotional challenges, promote resilience, and empower individuals to manage their mental well-being effectively.

Legal Support Services: Our team offers comprehensive legal assistance including consultations, representation, and assistance with documentation. We support survivors in navigating legal processes, ensuring their rights are protected and they have access to justice.

Counseling Services: We provide holistic counseling services for individuals and children, focusing on emotional support, life skills development, and building healthy relationships. Our counselors work collaboratively with clients to address trauma, enhance coping strategies, and promote healing.

Doula Supports: We offer physical, emotional, and informational support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. Our doulas provide personalized care, advocacy, and guidance to ensure a supportive and empowering birthing experience for women.

The Salvation Army Family Life Resource Centre (FLRC) is an emergency short term shelter in the Brampton area for women and their children escaping partner violence.
